Q: How does it work?

A: The process is similar to braces, the tooth is cleaned and the enamel is protected. After that, a dental grade bonder is used to apply the gem, crystal or gold piece of your choice.

Q: Does it hurt?

A: Nope! There are no drills & no holes just bonder.

Q: What products are used & are they safe?

A: The adhesive used is dental grade, the same used to put braces on. The gems used are real Swarovski crystals & are lead-free. We also use real gold & diamonds. It's completely safe.

Q: How old do you have to be?

A: Must be 18 or over to have tooth gems applied or at least 16 with a parent/guardian present. Must sign the parental consent form also.

Q: How long does it last?

A: We used top-quality & dental-grade products. We usually say anywhere from 6 months to 2 years. However, sometimes they can last much longer than that. A lot can factor into the longevity of your tooth gems. Following aftercare & recommendation can make your gems last a long time.

Q: Can this be removed?

A: Tooth Gems are completely reversible with no damage. Do NOT try to remove them yourself. You'll need to go to a dentist or hygienist for safe removal. The removal is painless & can be polished off.

Q: Can this be placed on veneers?

A: Unfortunately, no. Tooth Gems won't stay on veneers or false teeth. This can only be applied on natural teeth.

Q: What if I swallow my Tooth Gem?

A: All products are safe to be in your mouth so don't stress! The crystals are lead-free. If you have product left on your tooth, just go to your dentist or hygienist to get it polished off.

Q: Can I still brush my teeth?

A: Please do! You can brush, floss, & still go see your dentist. A soft bristle brush is recommended. Hard bristles can be too harsh on the Tooth Gem. If you use an electric toothbrush, make sure you're careful near the Tooth Gem. 

Q: Do you have everything in stock?

A: I always keep stock of all the sizes & colors of the single Tooth Gems & shaped Tooth Gems that are available to me. However, I do require notice for certain gems. The diamonds, gold charms, & designer charms (brand logos) require pre-order. Everyone has their own unique style & I want to make sure we get something you'll be happy with for a very long time.

Q: Are you a dentist?

A: I'm only qualified to safely applied Tooth Gems. I'm certified with Tooth Kandy & went through proper training. I can't remove your gems.
